Brian Christopher Francis is to be considered "armed and dangerous" as the FBI continues to search for one of their most wanted suspects who allegedly murdered one person and attempted to kill another in Maryland.

Francis, 41, is wanted in connection to an apartment shooting in Hagerstown in late July earlier this year, according to federal officials. Two people were found dead in the residence, one of whom died and another who suffered serious injuries.

Also known as "Fox," or "Silk," Francis was charged in the District Court for Washington County in Maryland on 13 charges in August to include murder and attempted murder, and a federal arrest warrant was issued days later in Baltimore when he was accused of unlawfully avoiding prosecution.

Francis was described as being 5-foot-10 weighing 170 pounds with black hair, black eyes, and a scar on his face. Outside of Maryland, Francis has ties to Scranton-Wilkes Barre in Pennsylvania, Brooklyn, and Tampa.

A reward of up to $10,000 has been offered by the FBI for information that leads to the arrest and subsequent prosecution of Francis.

Anyone with information regarding Francis or his whereabouts has been asked to contact their local FBI office or nearest American Embassy or Consulate.
